The rainy season begins late November and ends in March. The Northern areas can receive up to 700 mm while the Kalahari desert area averages as low as 225mm.
From April to October the days are sunny and cool to warm and evening temps drop sharply.
During summer the October to April temperatures can rise to over 40°and usually drop to 25 degrees at night.
